The last meal of the semester is...
  • Breakfast, May 18, will be the last meal served.
  • Summer meal plans begin Monday, May 20.

Ditch the cardboard, donate stuff!
  • Corrugated cardboard isn't allowed in city landfills. Reduce cardboard use by packing your items in reusable tubs. No cardboard is allowed in the roll-off containers!
    • To reduce waste, pack items in reusable tubs, bags, suitcases, laundry baskets, etc. Instead of bubble wrap or packing peanuts, wrap delicate items in linens or clothes. This method can help you pack your items more efficiently while also reducing the amount of plastic you use unnecessarily.
  • Goodwill bins are located in all residence hall lobbies May 6-20. Donate clothing and other small items.
  • Give your bedsheets to The Bridge. Collection boxes are in lobbies.
  • Donate unopened food, toiletries, and cleaning supplies to the Husker Pantry before May 18.
  • Discard your electronics by May 20 in the bins located near the outside Dumpsters.
  • Return any green reusable OZZI containers before leaving campus. Find bins to return containers, silverware, or other dining items in hall lobbies.
Want to store or ship your stuff?
  • Storage Scholars offers storage, moving and shipping solutions. Learn more at storagescholars.com.
One-hour loading zones and parking areas.
  • Look for one-hour move-out zones near the halls.
  • The top floor of the 17th & R parking garage is available for one-hour loading beginning May 6.
Remember to change your address!
  • Log into MyRED to change your address. DON'T FORGET Amazon, Target, USPS, etc.
Bikes parked in bicycle racks.
  • Make sure to take your bike home. If you are staying here for the summer, there are designated "safe" racks to lock up your bike. After 30 days, abandoned bikes are taken to inventory for auction.
When do I have to be moved out of my room/hall?
  • Make sure you're packed and your room is clean. Halls close at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 18. Graduates need to be moved out by 5 p.m.
